Food and Drink - There are many fine restaurants in Knutsford. Among these is the award winning Belle Époque. Its sister restaurant The Duke of Portland is in the neighbouring village of Lach Dennis. There are in excess of twenty other restaurants in the town and many more in the surrounding area.

The Bells of Peover, made famous during the second world war because of the visits from Generals Eisenhower and Patton is a short walk as is the Smoker Inn, The Crown and the Three Greyhounds.
All serve excellent food and are also very welcoming to go for a drink and are all full of Cheshire charm and Manchester and Chester are only a short drive or train journey away and both have top class restaurants with Michelin Stars as well as all the variety you would expect in major cities. Altrincham is only a fifteen minute drive or train journey and is home to the Juniper, one of the two Michelin stared restaurants in Cheshire. The other being the Grosvenor Hotel in Chester.
Golf- There are a number of golf courses near by. The nearest is half a mile away; Peover Golf Course. The club house at Peover serves excellent food in its oak framed restaurant. Also close by are Knutsford Golf Club, Woodside Golf Club, Heyrose Golf Club and the prestigious Mere Golf and Country Club. For a full list of courses click here.
Other Attractions - There are a number of attractions in the area to suit all needs and weathers. These include:Jodrell Bank Radio Telescope This is a huge radio telescope that has and is a very important part of international space exploration. It has a visitors centre with hands on activities, as well as a panetarium. Chester Zoo. The largest zoo in Europe. It can be reached by car in about half an hour and a little longer by train, direct from Plumley to Chester. With 110 acres of gardens packed with 7,000 animals and over 400 different species, many of which are endangered, the Zoo is a great day out for everyone. Tatton Park. Only a few minutes in the car or on the train. Tatton Park is one of the UK's most complete historic estates. The Mansion, Gardens, Farm, Old Hall, 1,000 acre deer park, rare breed farm and speciality shops offer something for everyone along with over 100 events annually, including the Tatton Flower Show held in July each year. Blue Planet Aquarium. The 70m moving underwater walkway will take you on a spectacular journey through Caribbean waters. Home to some 20 different species of sharks you may want to stay a while and marvel at these. The Blue Planet contains more types of shark than anywhere else in Britain.
Shopping - We are close to a number of excellent places to shop including:Trafford Centre, Manchester City Centre, Chester, Cheshire Oaks and The Potteries. Knutsford also has a number of boutiques and jewelers.
